Nepal

In Nepal, GRT focused on ethnic minorities and child protection, working closely with local partners.

At the same time, after carefully examining the needs of the country, GRT also worked on topics such as violence against women and human trafficking, especially women and children. The work focused on the causes that lead people to be victims, such as extreme poverty, family breakdown, domestic violence, or gender discrimination.

GRT then supported Nepal during the 2015 earthquake, as well as helping the country with the HelpLine project, to defend and promote children’s rights in different contexts such as family, school, and community.
